More than 80 people came together September 12 for an afternoon of music, art and community.
The Dyment Recreation Hall was packed on September 12 as the community came together for its second annual Fall Arts Exhibition and Market. More than 80 people attended from across the region, filling the hall with artists, musicians, visitors and neighbours.
The afternoon brought together a wide range of local creative work, with artwork and handmade pieces on display alongside music and conversation. The exhibition gave artists an opportunity to share their work while the market created space for people to connect, browse and support creative activity in the region.
Music added to the atmosphere throughout the afternoon, turning the event into more than an exhibition. The hall became a gathering place where artists, families and community members could spend time together and celebrate the creative work happening across the region.
The second annual event builds on the growing role of Dyment Recreation Hall as a place for arts, culture and community activity. With more than 80 people through the doors, September 12 showed the interest that exists in bringing people together around local artists and creative work.
