Celebrate Canada Day in Melgund Township with an afternoon of community, music, and summer festivities at the Dyment Recreation Hall.
The Canada Day Festival runs from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., bringing together residents and visitors from across Northwestern Ontario for a relaxed, family-friendly celebration. This year’s event features live performances by Gerry and Tanya McArthur, longtime favourites at Melgund Township music events.
Known for their consistent presence at local gatherings over the years, Gerry and Tanya McArthur continue to be a highlight of community celebrations, adding a familiar and welcoming sound to the Canada Day festivities.
The festival offers an opportunity to enjoy live local music while celebrating Canada Day in a small-town setting at the Dyment Recreation Hall.
