A generous contribution from Art Borups Corners’ Arts and Land Lab program is helping shape a more vibrant, welcoming recreational greenspace in Northwestern Ontario.
A sincere thank you to Art Borups Corners and their Arts and Land Lab program for their generous donation of flowers to the Dyment Recreation Park program.
The donation was formally announced at the Local Services Board of Melgund meeting on June 15, marking another step forward in the ongoing work to improve and care for the park. The donation comes a week after apple trees were planted at the recreation park.
These beautiful blooms are already making a difference. Planted alongside the apple trees already provided, they bring colour, warmth, and a sense of care to the park and surrounding greenspace. It’s the kind of change you notice right away, but also the kind that grows stronger over time.
This contribution is part of a broader effort to steadily revitalize the park in Melgund Township. With each addition, the space becomes more welcoming, more lived-in, and more reflective of the people who use it.
A Shared Effort
Support like this goes a long way. It’s practical, it’s visible, and it helps build momentum for ongoing work in recreation, arts, and community life across here in Melgund Township. The flowers will be planted on Wednesday afternoon during Recreation Hall Drop-in hours from 1-4 p.m. All are welcome to come out, take part and lend a hand.
We’re grateful for the partnership and the thought behind it. These are the kinds of contributions that help a place take shape.
