Getting Ready for the Fall Arts Exhibition and Music Jamboree

It’s setup week at the Dyment Recreation Hall. We’re getting the artwork hung, arranging tables and figuring out where everything needs to go before everyone arrives on Saturday.

Our Fall Arts Exhibition and Music Jamboree is happening September 12 from 1 to 5 p.m., and we’re looking forward to having the hall full again. The exhibition is the result of the arts work we’ve been doing throughout the year, with pieces from artists and participants across the region.

We’re also very happy to be featuring the work of regional artist Shirley Franklin on the upper level. Her work will remain on display as part of the exhibition through the end of October, so if you can’t make it Saturday, there will still be plenty of time to come by and have a look.

There will be music on Saturday, along with artist and vendor tables and the BBQ. We’ll have hotdogs and hamburgers available, so you can grab something to eat while you look around and listen to the music jam.

The event runs from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Dyment Recreation Hall. There’s no admission, and everyone is welcome.

We still have a few things to get done before Saturday, but the hall is starting to come together. We’ll see you there.
