Discover One of Northwestern Ontario’s Biggest Canada Day Silent Auctions in Dyment

Looking for a memorable way to celebrate Canada Day in Northwestern Ontario? Make your way to the Dyment Recreation Hall and Park on Wednesday, July 1, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for one of the area’s biggest Canada Day Festival Silent Auctions. Whether you’re hoping to find a unique item, enjoy great local entertainment, or simply spend the afternoon with family and friends, this annual community celebration has something for everyone.

This year’s festival features live music throughout the afternoon, including performances by Gerry and Tanya McArthur and Walter and Friends. While you’re here, stop by the Cook Shack for burgers, hot dogs, smokies, refreshments, and other festival favourites. Kids can enjoy the lemonade stand, and everyone can enter for door prizes while taking in the relaxed atmosphere that makes this Canada Day tradition so special.

The Canada Day Festival has become a highlight of the summer in Melgund Township, bringing together residents, seasonal visitors, neighbours, and travellers from across Northwestern Ontario. Come out, place a few bids in the silent auction, enjoy some great food and live music, and help support another successful community celebration.
