As part of the 2026 Spring Arts Exhibition in Melgund Township, Northwestern Ontario, Inuit artist and filmmaker Eva Suluk presents an eight-part series showcasing the deep connection between people and caribou. Through traditional land-based practices—including harvesting, butchering, and cooking—her work celebrates intergenerational knowledge transfer and the continuity of Inuit skills, culture, and ways of life.
