2026 Speaker Series Planning

Planning Our 2026 Speaker Series – We Want Your Input!
Melgund Recreation 6 Jan 2026 2 minutes read
Thanks to the Ontario Arts Council, we were able to run our workshops on digital arts. We now have the skills for image processing and creating a stronger online presence for our community.

Community Presentations and Special Guest Speakers for 2026

We’re thrilled to start planning this year’s Community Presentation and Speaker Series, and we want you to be part of it! Each year, our series brings together creative thinkers, innovators, and changemakers to share ideas, spark conversation, and inspire action. But what makes it truly special is ensuring it reflects the interests, curiosity, and passions of our community.

This year, we’re thinking about a mix of presentations—everything from hands-on workshops and live demonstrations to thought-provoking talks and panel discussions. Whether it’s exploring the intersection of art and technology, diving into community-based creative projects, or showcasing emerging voices in the arts, we want the series to feel dynamic, engaging, and inclusive.

And here’s where you come in: what kinds of speakers or topics excite you? Are there local artists, cultural leaders, or innovators you’ve been hoping to hear from? Maybe there’s a theme you’d love to see explored, or a skill you want to learn more about. We’d love to hear your ideas so we can shape a series that feels relevant, inspiring, and fun for everyone.

Reach out and let us know what you’d like to see this year! You can contact us directly or email your suggestions to info@artsincubator.ca. Your voice will help guide the conversation and ensure our 2026 Speaker Series is one to remember.

On April 22, 2026, the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) will host a public Open House on the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) Deep Geological Repository (DGR) for Canada’s Used Nuclear Fuel Project.
