Melgund Recreation, Arts and Culture is a community hub celebrating creativity, connection, and well-being in Melgund Township, Northwestern Ontario. We offer programs in arts, culture, and recreation that engage residents of all ages—fostering community participation, skill-building, and storytelling. From family-friendly events and workshops to audiobooks, exhibits, and cultural programs, we aim to nurture imagination, preserve local heritage, and inspire meaningful experiences that bring people together. At Melgund, creativity meets community, and everyone is welcome to explore, create, and share.

This family-friendly community celebration features live music, delicious food, and a vibrant artists, crafters, and vendors market showcasing local talent and handmade goods from across the region. By attending, visitors are helping support local artists, artisans, small businesses, and community organizations while contributing to the growth of arts, culture, and recreation in Northwestern Ontario. Surrounded by the beauty of Northern Ontario, the festival offers a chance to get out of the city, explore the bush, connect with local communities, and enjoy a full day of entertainment, culture, shopping, and small-town hospitality.
