Saturday morning brought neighbours together for good food, great costumes and plenty of laughs.
Halloween costumes, good food and plenty of laughs made Saturday morning’s community breakfast a fun one in Melgund. The hall was buzzing as community members came out to enjoy the monthly breakfast, catch up with neighbours and get into the Halloween spirit. There were full plates, great costumes and lots of smiles around the room.
The Local Services Board of Melgund and Melgund Recreation, Arts and Culture team up each month to bring people together over food and a bit of good company. The all-you-can-eat buffet is always a hit, but it’s the chance to sit down, share a meal and feel part of the community that makes these mornings special. It’s a simple tradition that gives people a reason to get together, and Saturday was another great example of that.
