Melgund’s Got the Moves

Christmas Dancing in Melgund Township

No Christmas event would be complete without dancing!

Special Memories from the 2025 Melgund Township Christmas Feast

The floors were shaking and the spirits were soaring at the Dyment Recreation Hall yesterday! We all know that no Christmas Feast is truly complete without some foot-tapping holiday music, and this year’s celebration certainly delivered. It was the perfect high-energy highlight to our township’s seasonal activities, proving that the best way to burn off a holiday meal is with a little rhythm and a lot of laughter.

And a massive, heartfelt Happy Belated 91st Birthday goes out to the legendary Arnie Wager! As Melgund Township’s most accomplished dancer, Arnie showed us all how it’s done, bringing an extra spark of joy to the hall. You are an inspiration, Arnie, and we are so lucky to have you always leading the way on the dance floor!

Finally, a huge thank you to the Local Services Board of Melgund for organizing such a seamless event. We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to every volunteer who contributed delicious potluck dishes, stayed late for the clean-up crew, or generously donated gifts. Your collective efforts turned a simple gathering into a truly magical community milestone.
