Canada Day is just around the corner, and we need your hands to help us get ready for the biggest celebration of the year! Before the fireworks, music, and festivities can begin, we have a giant task ahead of us—literally. We are looking for enthusiastic community members to help us assemble and raise the massive event tents that will host our Canada Day celebrations on July 1st.

📅 Event Details

This community event takes place on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at the Dyment Recreation Hall. We will get started at 10:00 a.m.. Anyone ready to roll up their sleeves is welcome to join, and no previous tent-building experience is required!

🍔 What’s in it for you?

Aside from the absolute glory of conquering giant canvas and metal poles, we have you covered. We will keep you fueled up and hydrated with plenty of free food, snacks, and refreshments. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet your neighbors, share a laugh, and enjoy a great day out with the community while getting a sneak peek behind the scenes of our July 1st setup.

⚠️ What to Bring and Wear: Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. If you have a favorite pair of work gloves, feel free to bring them along!
